Brief Background History: I’m a Florida native and grew up in Port St Lucie. I know the change we have gone through and have seen the growth and history of our town. I graduated high school in 2002 and decided that climbing the corporate ladder was easier than going to college. Five years into Corporate America and 3 rungs up and over I have found that this wasn’t what I thought it was and realized a formal education is one of the things I was missing. January 2008 I enrolled at IRSC for a Marketing/Finance degree. I was married in Nov. 2006 and the relationship I have with my husband is almost 100% of the reason why I decided to go to college. We joke that we are “Team Taylor” but joking aside – we do make an awesome, innovative team. I can say that the Corporate world has taught me a lot and that going back for an education I am now focused, have my eye on what I hope to achieve, have a vision and a goal. My past employers have taught me invaluable lessons in Branding and Marketing which is where I have found interest. I can say that I understand the importance of giving value first, knowing that people don’t like to be sold, and that if you stop learning you stop living. I would like to say that I hope to always be a student so that I am adaptable, creative, and inspirational to those I come into contact with.
