Realtor Open House across Florida

Picture this: On April 10 and 11, more than 50,000 balloons bearing the Realtor logo will be floating above mailboxes across the state, luring prospective buyers to thousands of Realtor Open Houses. It’s part of the Florida Open House Weekend. It’s an opportunity to tour dozens of homes in one weekend making it a real time-saver.
Home Purchase Assistance
Funds are available to eligible Very-low, Low and Moderate-income homebuyers for down payment, closing costs, and/or repair assistance for purchasing new or existing homes located within the city limits of Port St. Lucie. Maximum assistance for Very-low income households is $70,000; Low income is $60,000; Moderates (81 through 100% of median income) receive up to $50,000; and Moderates (101 to 120% of median income) are limited to $30,000. Each qualified household will receive the minimum amount of assistance needed to purchase a home. Assistance is in the form of a deferred loan.

Realtor’s Association of St Lucie’s Attainable Housing Program
Applying for assistance is as easy as filling out an application. These funds come from funds raised at local events held by the Realtor’s Association of St Lucie and are granted to those who meet qualifications such as 1) Be employed, 2) have a home under contract for purchase in St. Lucie County, and 3) have income levels within the guidelines required by Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
